Rebecca Hughes
Rebecca Hughes is a surface pattern designer with roots in Ukraine, where she grew up surrounded by rich traditions, hand-embroidered textiles, and folk art. Those early influences shaped her creative eye and taught her to find meaning in the details. She studied interior design in school, which deepened her love for color, form, and the emotional power of well-designed spaces. That’s where she discovered her passion for pattern — not just as decoration, but as a way to bring warmth and intention into everyday life.
Now, as a mom of three, she finds endless inspiration in the beauty of daily moments. Her kids remind her to slow down and notice the world — a rhythm that flows into her work. Each pattern she create is hand-drawn and blends heritage, heart, and simplicity. She is inspired by vintage textiles and the age-old method of block printing. Her goal is always to design something soulful and alive.
